The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide their services in the highest professional manner to benefit of the public as well as employers and clients. In fulfilling its mission, the AICPA works with state CPA organizations and gives priority to those areas where public reliance on CPA skills is most significant.





The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board is a private, nonprofit corporation created by the Sabarnes-Oxley Act of 2002 to oversee the auditors of public companies. The PCAOB was created to protect investors and the public interest by promoting informative, fair, and independent audit reports.




The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), is the voice of the construction industry. AGC is an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry-related companies dedicated to skill, integrity, and responsibility. Operating in partnership with its chapters, the association provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members, thereby improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest.




The Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce is the local private sector association with the most influential presence before the Puerto Rico Legislative Assembly and the U.S. Congress. It represents all business sectors in Puerto Rico and has a leadership role in promoting legislation, advising the legislative committees on matters of concern to the business community, tracking legislation throughout the legislative process, and informing members about its status through its publication “Cámara en Acción” (Chamber in Action).
